Jérémy Jacquet has officially joined Liverpool on the transfer deadline day; however, he will remain on loan at his youth club Stade Rennais for the time being. Unfortunately, Jacquet will miss the upcoming Coupe de France match against Olympique de Marseille due to medical assessments related to his transfer to the Premier League side.

With Jacquet unavailable, Stade Rennais is expected to field a back three comprised of Anthony Rouault, Alidu Seidu, and Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal for the match. Additionally, the team will be without another key player, Valentin Rongier, who is currently sidelined with an injury. New signing Sebastien Szymanski is anticipated to take a spot in the attack alongside Breel Embolo as they aim for a strong performance at the Vélodrome.

The anticipated starting lineup for Rennes against Marseille includes Brice Samba in goal, with a defensive line of Quentin Merlin, Alidu Seidu, Anthony Rouault, and Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal. In midfield, they will feature Przemyslaw Frankowski, Ludovic Blas, Djaoui Cissé, and Mahdi Camara, supporting the forward duo of Breel Embolo and Sebastien Szymanski.

As Stade Rennais prepares to face a formidable opponent in Marseille, fans will be eager to see how the team adapts to the absences and if they can leverage their recent signings for a boost in performance.
