The Baltimore Ravens have finalized a three-year contract extension with tight end Mark Andrews, concluding a period of uncertainty surrounding his future with the team. This significant agreement, valued at $39.3 million with $26 million guaranteed, strengthens Andrews’ position as one of the organization’s cornerstone players.
At 30 years old, Andrews joins an exclusive group as just the third player in Ravens history to secure three contracts with the franchise, a mark typically reserved for its elite players. He holds the franchise records for receptions (473), receiving yards (5,862), and receiving touchdowns (56). This season, he has made 37 receptions for 332 yards and five touchdowns over 12 games.
“Mark is an all-time Raven, a top competitor and Pro Bowl tight end who is also a big part of our Baltimore community,” remarked Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta, acknowledging Andrews’ contributions both on and off the field.
Andrews was selected in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft from Oklahoma, where he quickly became a vital target for quarterback Lamar Jackson, establishing his reputation as one of the most productive tight ends in the league. His accolades include three Pro Bowl selections and notable rankings among historical tight ends, standing 28th in career receptions, 24th in receiving yards, and 12th in receiving touchdowns.
Prior to this deal, Andrews had already solidified his status with a four-year, $56 million contract extension in September 2021, making him the third-highest-paid tight end in the NFL at that time. With his latest contract, he now ranks as the sixth-highest in the league, reflecting his continued value to the franchise and his performance on the field.
