The Powerball jackpot has surged to an astounding estimated $1.1 billion, following another drawing that produced no winner. This comes after Saturday night’s drawing where the numbers drawn were 1, 28, 31, 57, and 58, with the Powerball being 16.

The upcoming drawing is scheduled for Monday evening, and should a lucky player hit the jackpot, they will have the option to choose between receiving the total of $1.1 billion in annual payments or a one-time lump sum of approximately $503.4 million.

This jackpot marks the sixth-largest prize in the history of Powerball, trailing behind the record $2.04 billion amassed on November 7, 2022. Since the last jackpot win on September 6, when two tickets in Missouri and Texas shared a whopping $1.787 billion, players have faced 42 consecutive draws without any jackpot wins, fueling excitement and raising stakes.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot stand at 1 in 292.2 million, a reminder of the challenge that accompanies such life-changing prizes. The drawing will take place just before 11 p.m. ET at the Florida Lottery draw studio in Tallahassee, and tickets are priced at $2 each.

As anticipation builds, many are hopeful that Monday could bring a new jackpot winner, adding to the excitement that surrounds this storied lottery.
