Pollería Olga, located in the Mercado Central of Zaragoza, has successfully distributed approximately three million euros as a result of the 77715 ticket, which is the third fifth prize in the Christmas Lottery. This fortunate outcome has also benefited El Paraíso bar, situated in Plaza Santo Domingo. The ticket was sold by Valero Gimeno, owner of administration 65 in Zaragoza, located on La Salina street in the working-class neighborhood of El Gancho, known for its diverse community including many immigrants.
Gimeno expressed his joy and surprise, admitting he was “a bit in shock” following the win. He revealed that he sold 60 series of the ticket, amounting to 3.6 million euros in total prizes. Of those, about fifty series were sold through Olga Romero, the proprietor of Pollería Olga, while the remaining 50 tickets went to El Paraíso bar. The rest of the tickets were sold directly from his lottery administration. Interestingly, this particular number was not a fixed selection for the administration, which has been in operation since 1995; it was assigned when Gimeno requested a number ending in 15.
This significant prize distribution has not only brought joy to the lucky winners but also highlights the community spirit and support within Zaragoza’s vibrant marketplace.
