Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker reported that while departures are currently at a standstill, the airport remains operational. Limited service is anticipated to commence around 2 p.m. on Monday.
As the storm progressed, a total of 605 flights were canceled, with an additional 12 flights experiencing delays by 2:05 p.m. on the same day.
The winter storm significantly impacted the Delaware Valley, with certain localities recording impressive snowfall amounts. By Monday morning, areas around Philadelphia had recorded the following totals:

– Rockledge: 13.8 inches
– Philadelphia International: 13.7 inches
– Belmont: 12.7 inches
– Bustleton: 12.0 inches
– Point Breeze: 11.0 inches
Fortunately, forecasts indicate that the snowfall is expected to taper off from west to east later in the afternoon, offering a glimpse of normalcy for travel plans in the coming days.
