PFF’s 2025 rookie rankings: Campbell remains top, McMillan shines for Panthers

Lauren Gray from Pro Football Focus has released her latest rankings of the top rookies in the NFL for the 2025 season, and for the second consecutive week, Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Jihaad Campbell retains the top spot. Campbell has solidified his position on the reigning Super Bowl champions, participating in all nine games thus far and making eight starts. He stands out as a key player for the team, ranking third with 49 defensive stops.

In the fifth position of Gray’s rankings is Carolina Panthers wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, who has also made a notable impact in his rookie season despite his team’s inconsistent performance. In the Panthers’ recent Week 10 loss to the Saints, McMillan showcased his skills by catching five of eight targets for 60 yards, including three first downs and two receptions exceeding 10 yards. His longest reception was a 26-yard catch midway through the third quarter. As the eighth overall pick from Arizona, he has accumulated 46 receptions for 618 yards this season, placing him 13th in overall yardage among rookies. McMillan has also demonstrated his ability to make big plays, with 20 catches of 15 yards or more, including 10 receptions of 20 yards or greater, tying him for the seventh-most in the league.

Both rookies highlight the potential and talent emerging in the NFL this season, as they continue to earn recognition for their impressive performances on the field.
