The excitement surrounding the Peaky Blinders franchise continues to grow with the announcement of the feature film titled *Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man*, which is slated for theatrical release on March 6, 2026. Following its cinema debut, fans can catch the film on Netflix from March 20, 2026.

Directed by Tom Harper and written by Steven Knight, the film will see Oscar-winning actor Cillian Murphy reprise his iconic role as Tommy Shelby, a character he portrayed in the critically acclaimed series that aired from 2013 to 2022. The film also features a stellar cast, including Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, Sophie Rundle, Barry Keoghan, Stephen Graham, and Jay Lycurgo, with other familiar faces from the series such as Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee, and Ian Peck.

Set in Birmingham during 1940 amidst the turmoil of World War II, the film’s plot centers on Tommy Shelby as he returns from a self-imposed exile to confront his most challenging reckoning. The central conflict revolves around the future of both his family and his country, compelling Tommy to grapple with his legacy and face his inner demons.

Since its debut on BBC Two in the UK, *Peaky Blinders* has evolved into a cultural phenomenon, moving to Netflix in 2014 and winning a BAFTA for Best Drama Series for its fourth season. After the feature film, the story will continue with two new six-part sequel series commissioned by Netflix and the BBC, set to take place starting in 1953.
