The Fiji Roads Authority has announced that overnight asphalting works will commence on the Nausori-bound lane of the Rewa Bridge. Scheduled to start at 8 PM tonight and conclude by 5 AM tomorrow, the operation will necessitate the closure of both lanes leading towards Nausori, specifically between the Lelean and Wainibokasi roundabouts.

To maintain traffic flow during this maintenance period, the Suva-bound lanes will remain open, allowing vehicles to continue their journey towards the capital. Motorists are urged to observe all signs and comply with directions from traffic controllers to ensure safety throughout the duration of the work. As always, the completion of these activities may be influenced by weather conditions, and delays could occur if necessary.

This maintenance project is a significant effort to improve road safety and bolster infrastructure in the region. Investments in road upkeep are essential for enhancing transportation efficiency and ensuring safe passage for all users in Fiji. Such initiatives indicate a commitment to fostering better driving conditions and ultimately contribute to the overall well-being of the community.
