NVIDIA has announced that it has identified a bug in the recently released Game Ready and Studio 595.59 WHQL drivers, prompting the company to temporarily remove these downloads while investigations take place. Users who have already installed the flawed driver and are encountering issues with fan control are advised to revert to the previous version, 591.86 WHQL. For those utilizing the NVIDIA app, reinstalling the older driver is straightforward; users simply need to click the three dots in the Drivers tab.

In a positive light, NVIDIA’s new GeForce Game Ready Driver optimizes systems for the much-anticipated launch of Resident Evil™ Requiem, which arrives today at 9 PM PT. This update features cutting-edge technology including immersive path tracing, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, and DLSS Ray Reconstruction, enhancing the gaming experience to new heights.

Furthermore, today also marks the commencement of the Marathon Server Slam open test, which will benefit from features such as DLSS Super Resolution and NVIDIA Reflex support. Users can download and install the latest drivers directly from the Drivers tab of the NVIDIA app or via GeForce.com.
