Amazon has provided new insights into the concluding phase of its massively multiplayer online game, New World: Aeternum. After announcing in October that support for the game would come to an end, the company revealed that the final season, titled Nighthaven, will mark the last chapter for players. From today onwards, New World will be removed from sale, but existing players can look forward to continuing their adventures as the game’s servers will remain operational until January 31, 2027.
Players who have already purchased New World will have the opportunity to re-download and enjoy the game until the final shutdown. The Nighthaven season will carry through until the servers are taken offline. However, it’s important to note that in-game currency, known as Marks of Fortune, will no longer be available for purchase starting July 20, 2026. Additionally, players should be aware that there will be no refunds provided for any Marks of Fortune that have been purchased.
While this announcement signals the end of New World: Aeternum, the remaining months offer players a chance to enjoy the last season and to revisit their favorite aspects of the game they have invested time in. As the gaming community reflects on their experiences, many can cherish the memories created in Aeternum, highlighting the journey that has captivated players since its launch.
