Organizers of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival have officially announced the lineup for the much-anticipated 2026 event, which is set to take place over two weekends from April 23 to May 3 at the Fair Grounds Race Course. The lineup brings together an exciting blend of classic rock, modern country, and soul, infused with the vibrant essence of New Orleans culture.
Leading the festival’s headlines will be iconic acts including the Eagles, Stevie Nicks, and Rod Stewart, all of whom have made significant contributions to the music scene. The Eagles, who are currently performing live following the announcement of their farewell tour in 2023, continue to captivate audiences, having recently launched a concert residency at Sphere in Las Vegas. Stevie Nicks has just concluded her winter tour, while Rod Stewart is on an extended tour that will run into next summer.
Country music will be well-represented, with Grammy-winning star Lainey Wilson, a native of Louisiana, taking a prominent place on the lineup. Garnering recognition as CMA Entertainer of the Year for the second consecutive year, Wilson is also poised to make her acting debut in a feature film next year. Tyler Childers, nominated for a Grammy for his album “Snipe Hunter,” alongside Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, rounds out the country headliners.
Additionally, rock and soul performers such as The Black Keys, Alabama Shakes, Kings of Leon, and the Tedeschi Trucks Band are set to grace the stage, enriching the festival’s diverse musical offerings. Notable local talent, including Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty, and Irma Thomas, will also highlight the rich musical heritage of New Orleans.
While tickets are not yet available, fans can look forward to purchasing them through the festival’s official website as the event date approaches. The Jazz & Heritage Festival promises to deliver a celebration of music and culture that fans will not want to miss.
