Netflix UK Unveils Festive Lineup: Stranger Things Finale and More

This week, Netflix UK has introduced a more subdued lineup, adding 32 new movies and TV shows to its collection, highlighted by the much-anticipated return of “Stranger Things.”

The final season of “Stranger Things,” which premiered on November 27, 2025, marks the culmination of an iconic journey that has captured audiences’ imaginations for nearly three and a half years. While only the first four episodes are currently available, fans should brace themselves for a wait until Christmas Day for the next installment. The series, classified as drama, fantasy, and horror, continues to star Winona Ryder, David Harbour, and Finn Wolfhard.

In addition to “Stranger Things,” Netflix released “Jingle Bell Heist” on November 26, 2025. This festive romantic comedy, directed by Michael Fimognari, features a cast that includes Peter Serafinowicz and Lucy Punch. The film follows two struggling workers who decide to rob a posh department store in London during the holiday season, all while possibly discovering love.

Another notable addition is “Migration,” an animated adventure that is set to premiere on August 19, 2024. Directed by Benjamin Renner and Guylo Homsy, this family-friendly film boasts a voice cast including Kumail Nanjiani, Elizabeth Banks, and Danny DeVito. Three new documentaries and two new reality series also made their debut, enhancing the variety of content available. A stand-up special featuring Kevin Hart, titled “Acting My Age,” rounds out the week’s additions.
