Nashville is emerging as a strong contender to host the Super Bowl in the near future, especially with the city’s ongoing developments, including a new stadium set to open in 2027. Country music artist Jelly Roll recently weighed in on the possibility, expressing his enthusiasm for a halftime show that features a lineup of country music icons.

At the Clive Davis Grammy Pre-Party, Jelly Roll shared his vision for a country-themed halftime performance, which he believes would unite both fans and musicians. “Oh listen, I’ve been waiting on somebody to ask me a halftime performance question,” he remarked. He envisions an exciting lineup that could include country legends such as Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, and Dolly Parton, along with contemporary stars like Morgan Wallen and HARDY.

Jelly Roll’s optimism doesn’t stop there; he is convinced that Nashville’s time to shine on the Super Bowl stage is fast approaching. He stated, “The Super Bowl could possibly come to Nashville in the next three to five years, we’re getting a new stadium,” highlighting the potential for the Titans to host the big game. This would be a significant milestone for both the team and the city.

Interestingly, amid this excitement, it was announced on February 2 that Jelly Roll will be joining Post Malone for the “Big Ass Stadium Tour, Part Two,” which includes a stop at the original Nissan Stadium this June. This announcement adds a layer of complexity to his earlier pledge to wait for the new stadium’s debut before returning to perform.

Jelly Roll’s passion for country music and his aspirations for Nashville signal a promising future for the city as it seeks to elevate its profile on the national sports scene. With his commitment to bringing the spirit of country music to a broader audience, the prospect of a Nashville-hosted Super Bowl seems increasingly likely.
