Morini Captures NZPBC Welterweight Title with Stunning KO

Sunny Morini from New Zealand has claimed the NZPBC welterweight title after delivering a stunning second-round knockout to Fiji’s Mohammed Ali at the Stratum Construction ZEG Kings Boxing Day event. Morini’s powerful punch found its mark on Ali’s cheek, leaving him unable to respond before the referee completed the count.

Ali, who stepped in on short notice to replace Jese Ravudi just days before the bout, demonstrated remarkable determination and received significant support from the audience. However, he was ultimately outmatched by Morini’s superior strength and boxing skill.
