The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office has issued a missing person’s bulletin for 19-year-old Camila Mendoza Olmos, who disappeared from her home on Christmas Eve morning, December 24. The last known sighting of Camila occurred around 6:58 a.m. at her residence located on the 11000 block of Caspian Spring in northwest Bexar County.

Surveillance footage reportedly shows an individual believed to be Camila looking through her vehicle for an unknown item before the video ends. Following that sighting, authorities suspect she may have left the house on foot, as her vehicle was found parked at their home.

Camila’s mother, Rosario Olmos, described a typical morning for the teen, who often went for walks. However, Camila did not return home after her usual time away. When Rosario awoke 90 minutes after feeling her daughter rise, she found Camila’s phone charging on the bed and grew concerned when she discovered her daughter’s absence.

Rosario reached out to Camila’s boyfriend and father, who confirmed they had not seen her, prompting her to contact the authorities. Sadly, despite the tireless efforts of friends and family to locate Camila on Christmas Day, their search has so far been unsuccessful.

Described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 110 pounds, Camila was last seen wearing a black hoodie, baby blue pajama bottoms, and white shoes. She may have had her car keys and driver’s license with her at the time of her disappearance. A CLEAR alert has been issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety, categorizing her as a potentially endangered missing adult.

In an emotional plea to the community, Rosario expressed her desperation, saying, “I only ask God to please bring her back home.” She has encouraged anyone with information regarding Camila’s whereabouts to contact the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at (210) 335-6000 or email the missing persons unit at missingpersons@bexar.org.

While the situation remains dire, the family and community hold on to hope for Camila’s safe return. The swift action from law enforcement and the public’s ongoing support could prove vital in bringing her home.
