Keys, who recently triumphed by winning her first Grand Slam title at the 2025 Australian Open, has solidified her status as one of American tennis’s elite athletes. At the age of 29, she made history as the oldest first-time champion at this event when she defeated Aryna Sabalenka. She continued, “I try my best to donate and speak out. But I hope that as time continues, we can reach a state that we’re not currently in, and we keep moving forward.”
