The Lady Vols basketball team will once again be without star freshman point guard Mia Pauldo as they prepare to take on Ole Miss on Tuesday. Pauldo has been listed as out for a third consecutive game, while teammate Nya Robertson’s status is uncertain, as she is considered questionable for the matchup.

During the two games without Pauldo, Tennessee managed a decisive victory over Missouri but faced a tight loss against the highly ranked Texas team. These performances helped the Lady Vols climb to No. 21 in the national rankings. They will now compete against Ole Miss, which is currently ranked No. 17, in a game set to begin at 7 p.m. ET. Fans can catch the action on ESPNU.

Mia Pauldo has made a significant impact this season, averaging 11.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. Her performance in SEC contests has been particularly impressive, with an average of 14.4 points per game, ranking her 17th in the SEC and second on her team, just behind Talaysia Cooper, who is averaging 17.0 points.

Robertson, in her first year with the Lady Vols following two years at George Washington and one at SMU, provides valuable contributions as well. She averages 8.0 points per game, while shooting 35.3% from the field and 33.3% from beyond the arc. Additionally, she contributes 2.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game after appearing in 23 contests and starting in 15.

The upcoming game against Ole Miss is part of a busy schedule for the Lady Vols. Following this match, they will host Texas A&M on Thursday before traveling to face No. 11 Oklahoma on Sunday. The regular season will conclude with games against No. 7 LSU and a home matchup against No. 5 Vanderbilt, setting the stage for an exciting finish to the season.
