Kyrie Irving, the star point guard for the Dallas Mavericks, is making strides towards his return to the NBA following an ACL tear he sustained last year. As he prepares for his comeback, he has been spotted during pre-game shootarounds wearing the new ANTA KAI 3 signature shoe, which represents the third installment of his collaboration with the brand.

The ANTA KAI 3 features a striking low-cut design that aligns with Irving’s dynamic playing style. The shoe showcases an innovative midsole structure that is both aggressive and functional, incorporating jagged molding for added performance and robust traction that extends along the soles for enhanced grip. The medial side of the shoe boasts intricate patterns carved into the midsole, while the heel maintains a smoother look.

The upper of the shoe is crafted from breathable mesh material, providing comfort from toe to heel, and is complemented by a leather-like overlay around the ankle for support. Kyrie’s emblem is prominently displayed at the heel, with ANTA’s recognizable strike logo adorning the upper portion of the shoe and extending onto the midsole.

While fans are eagerly anticipating Irving’s debut in the 2025-26 NBA season with the ANTA KAI 3, the official launch of the shoe is slated for January 17, 2026, expected to be released in a special “Chinese New Year” colorway, priced at $125. However, it’s still unclear if the versions seen on Irving will be available for this drop.

With the return of Kyrie Irving to the court seeming ever closer, both fans and sneaker enthusiasts have much to look forward to in the coming months.
