Brooks Koepka is poised to make his highly anticipated return to the PGA Tour, as he has been included in the initial field list for the upcoming Farmers Insurance Open. The announcement was made on Friday evening, signaling a significant comeback for the five-time major champion, who recently gained access to the Tour after a 3 1/2-year tenure with LIV Golf.

Koepka has chosen Torrey Pines, located just outside San Diego, California, as the venue for his first event back. This marks his fifth appearance at the Farmers Insurance Open, where he previously debuted in 2015 with a tied-for-41st finish but has struggled in the subsequent years, missing the cut in three consecutive attempts.

The Farmers Insurance Open will take place from January 29 to February 1, with the tournament held across the North and South courses during the initial rounds. The prestigious South Course will be the setting for the weekend play, following a cut after 36 holes.

In addition to Koepka, the tournament will feature a strong lineup, including notable players such as Ludvig Åberg, Keegan Bradley, Patrick Cantley, Chris Gotterup, and Xander Schauffele, as the PGA Tour continues its season. Koepka’s return is expected to draw significant interest from fans and analysts alike, as he looks to reestablish himself among the elite in professional golf.
