Kodak Black has reignited his feud with Boosie BadAzz through a new track, prompting a fierce response from Boosie himself. The tension escalated on January 7 when Kodak released his latest song titled “Christmas Eve,” which includes pointed lyrics directed at Boosie. In the song, Kodak expresses disdain for the Louisiana rapper, stating, “F**k that lame ni**a Boosie/Looking down on a young ni**a getting skrilla/I used to look up to Boosie, he hate I got more bread that old head stupid,” showcasing a clear challenge to Boosie’s status.

Boosie reacted swiftly after hearing the track, utilizing X on January 8 to voice his frustrations. He criticized Kodak for choosing a time just before his court appearance to drop what he deemed a “weak a*s diss song.” Boosie noted that he will be facing federal gun charges in court the following day, emphasizing that Kodak’s timing seemed motivated by clout. He asserted, “U A REAL ITS STILL NOT GO GET PEOPLE TO F**K WITH YOUR MUSIC‼️WHEN THE LAST TIME U HEARD SOMEBODY SAID PUT ON THAT NEW KODAK U DONE BRA YOUR CAREER IS OVER‼️YOUR MUSIC TRASH N YOUR LOOKS R EVEN WORST.”

Boosie’s comments did not end there. He reminded Kodak of previous remarks he made about their past collaborations and hinted at troubled times ahead for the Florida rapper, suggesting that Kodak would be anxiously awaiting news of his own issues. He concluded with a mocking reference to a scene from “New Jack City,” implying that Kodak would be more focused on his troubles than on music.

The ongoing feud stems from earlier tensions, notably when Boosie criticized Kodak for working with controversial figure 6ix9ine on the song “Shaka Laka” back in 2023. This latest exchange further illustrates the rift between the two artists, with each taking shots at the other in the public eye. Given the nature of their rivalry, fans are eagerly watching to see how this dispute continues to unfold in the music scene.
