Kim stated, “I feared that [Ray J’s] accusations would put my dreams of becoming an attorney in jeopardy.” She pointed out that the California State Bar conducts a thorough background investigation of applicants to evaluate their moral character, which includes looking into any allegations of criminal misconduct.
