The autumn season proved to be quite eventful for the Russell-Rhys household, with both Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys making their mark in the entertainment industry. Keri Russell is in the spotlight for her role as Ambassador Kate Wyler in the third season of “The Diplomat,” while Matthew Rhys takes on the character of Nile Jarvis, a murderous billionaire, in his new series “The Beast in Me.”

Their talents were recognized at the recent Golden Globes, where both actors received nominations. Attending the ceremony together, Rhys donned a classic tuxedo, while Russell made a stunning appearance in a black gown, enhanced by elegant Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

The couple originally met on the set of “The Americans,” and Russell expressed her desire to collaborate with Rhys again, although she acknowledges his busy schedule. “I think that would probably be more in his court,” she remarked to People, noting that he is currently juggling several projects.

Keri Russell is set to reprise her role in the fourth season of “The Diplomat,” while Matthew Rhys has several initiatives lined up. These include “Widow’s Bay,” an Apple TV drama where he plays the mayor of a possibly cursed New England town, as well as the second season of “Presumed Innocent,” and “Silent River,” a serial killer series on Prime Video.

In addition, Rhys has shown interest in adapting Robert Caro’s “The Power Broker,” where he would portray the influential urban planner Robert Moses. While discussing the potential project with Conan O’Brien, Rhys mentioned the obstacles regarding rights acquisition, stating, “There is a select group of us who have approached a very well-known streaming platform.” He believes that this compelling story deserves to be brought to life, describing Moses as a figure whose impact is staggering and worthy of deeper exploration.

As both Russell and Rhys continue to excel in their fields, fans eagerly anticipate their future projects, hopeful for more collaborations that highlight their incredible chemistry and talent.
