The eagerly awaited second season of “Jury Duty” is set to premiere on Prime Video, showcasing a brand-new lead, Anthony, who remains blissfully unaware that his fellow employees are all actors. The title of the new installment is “Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat,” and the first trailer dropped on Thursday, offering a glimpse into Anthony’s world as he mistakenly believes he’s attending a team-building event for the fictional hot sauce company, Rockin’ Grandma’s.
The trailer features Anthony interacting with a colorful crew of employees as they navigate the eccentricities of the retreat. A central theme of the season involves the potential sale of Rockin’ Grandma’s, initially intended for the company president’s son to take over. Anthony expresses his commitment to his new colleagues, saying at one point, “If they think they can just come in and do whatever they feel like they wanna do, they’re in for a rude awakening. I care about y’all. This is a family.”
“Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat” is set to debut on March 20, with three episodes launching on that date. Following this, two more episodes will be available on March 27, culminating in a three-episode finale on April 3.
The ensemble cast includes familiar faces such as Alex Bonifer, Blair Beeken, Emily Pendergast, Erica Hernandez, and others. The first season of “Jury Duty” was a tremendous hit, featuring Ronald Gladden as the unsuspecting star alongside James Marsden, who played a fictionalized version of himself. Season one cleverly portrayed a mock jury trial where Gladden was the only one unaware of the setup, leading to a unique blend of comedy and reality.
The success of the first season, which garnered four Emmy nominations—including one for Marsden—has already led to significant recognition for Gladden, who secured a two-year overall deal with Amazon MGM Studios in November 2023. The show’s renewal for a second season was announced in February 2025, confirming that production had already wrapped.
The second season is executive produced by a talented team, including David Bernad, Lee Eisenberg, Gene Stupnitsky, and James Marsden. With Eisenberg and Stupnitsky as co-creators and Szymanski directing, fans can look forward to more of the clever antics and heartfelt moments that characterized the first season. The upcoming episodes promise to entertain while exploring the charming absurdities of corporate culture.
