Iowane Teba has been given the green light to participate in the upcoming Perth 7s after fully rejoining training with the Fiji Airways Fiji men’s 7s squad. Head coach Osea Kolinisau announced that Teba successfully took part in scrimmage sessions this week, exhibiting no signs of discomfort from the injury he sustained during the Singapore tournament.

“Teba ran again yesterday in a scrimmage session. He’s full-on running 100 percent. Teba is good to go this week, which is good news for us,” Kolinisau stated, assuring fans of Teba’s readiness.

In addition, the coach noted that the squad is in good health overall, with minimal injury concerns as they gear up for another challenging round in the series. Following last week’s triumphant title win in Singapore, Kolinisau had a motivating message for Fiji fans as they head into the Perth competition: “Keep supporting the boys and keep praying for them.”

The Fiji men’s 7s team will commence their pool games at the Perth 7s against Argentina at 4:20 PM, followed by a match against Spain at 7:36 PM, and they will conclude their pool stage against South Africa at 10:52 PM. Fans can catch all the action live on FBC TV.
