At the recent Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event, Drew McIntyre joined forces with Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Brock Lesnar, and Logan Paul in an intense matchup. However, there was a notable absence in the line-up; injured WWE star Austin Theory was initially slated to take part in the Men’s WarGames match.
According to report from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, plans shifted after Jacob Fatu incurred an injury, prompting WWE to accelerate the program between Cody Rhodes and McIntyre by a month. This change allowed McIntyre to participate in WarGames, while Theory’s role was ultimately filled by other talent.
Despite not being part of the WarGames teams, Theory’s presence could have been felt in the main event. In an electrifying moment towards the end of the match, an unidentified individual donning a black hoodie entered the ring and executed a superkick on CM Punk, which led to a spear from Bron Breakker that secured the victory for his team. Breakker’s surprised reaction suggested he did not recognize the masked figure, leaving fans to speculate that it could be Theory, who has been absent from WWE programming since July 2025.
While it’s unclear if Theory will officially join the Vision stable, fans are eagerly awaiting more revelations during the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW on December 1. Throughout his promising career, Theory has captured the United States Championship twice and the SmackDown Tag Team Championship once alongside Grayson Waller as part of the duo known as A-Town Down Under. He also won the coveted Money in the Bank ladder match during his second year on the main roster.
While Theory’s momentum may have slowed in recent times, a potential involvement with the Vision could reignite his career and put him back in the spotlight. As the WWE universe watches closely, fans remain hopeful for an exciting turn of events as the story unfolds.
