Three teenagers lost their lives in a tragic car accident on Halloween night in Pennsylvania. The incident took place around 9:30 p.m. on Friday, October 31, in Warrington Township, when a Toyota Camry, carrying four teenagers, collided with a Ford Explorer traveling in the opposite direction.
According to preliminary investigations by police, the sedan was headed eastbound on Bristol Road when the driver apparently lost control while approaching a downward slope in the narrow roadway. This led the Camry to veer into the westbound lane, where it struck the SUV. In the Camry were four teens, while the Explorer had just one occupant.
Authorities later identified the deceased as Elkhan Saparbekov, 15, the male driver; Kozyrev Artem, 16, a rear-seat passenger; and Aziz Umidovich Amonov, 18, a front-seat passenger from Feasterville/Trevose. Saparbekov was a freshman, while Amonov was a senior at Neshaminy High School, where two of the victims were students. The school community expressed its condolences, stating, “We extend our deepest sympathies to the families and friends of the students, as well as to everyone in our school community who is mourning the loss.”
A GoFundMe campaign for Saparbekov’s family has raised over $17,000, and another for Artem’s family surpassed $20,000 as of November 3. A tribute from Blazers Youth Ice Hockey remembered Artem as a “wonderful young man” and a valued member of their hockey community.
The fourth teen from the Camry, a 14-year-old boy, is currently hospitalized in Philadelphia after undergoing surgery. He remains in the intensive care unit and had previously been reported in “extremely critical condition.”
Fortunately, the driver of the Ford Explorer was not injured in the crash. An investigation is ongoing, with police describing the situation as “heartbreaking and tragic,” offering their thoughts and prayers to all affected by this devastating event.
