Ghosts returned with a bang in Season 5 Episode 11, titled “The Others,” as the long-anticipated group known as “The Others” made their debut. This new revelation brought intrigue and unexpected developments for Trevor, played by Asher Grodman.

The episode unveils that “The Others” are actually a former cult led by Bruce, portrayed by Will Greenberg, who tragically perished in an underground bunker on the property due to their unconventional practices. Flower, the Hippie spirit played by Sheila Carrasco, hatched a plan to liberate her friends who remained under Bruce’s influence.

Patience (Mary Holland), the Puritan spirit, was eager for Trevor to meet her friends, believing they had developed a romantic connection. One notable friend was Barbara, whose strong Philadelphia accent captivated Trevor, reminiscent of Hetty’s flirtatious mimicry that drove him wild during their occasional encounters.

However, as Patience recognized Barbara as her best friend, the incoming friendship added tension to the situation. Trevor found himself tempted by Barbara’s charms as she whispered enticing words into his ear, stirring conflicting emotions within him. Observing the moment from a distance, Patience misinterpreted Trevor’s interaction with Barbara as a betrayal, despite Trevor ultimately stepping back, realizing he had stronger feelings for her.

The episode closed with Patience storming off, leaving viewers to wonder about the fate of Trevor’s romantic pursuits. Will he have an opportunity to clarify his feelings to Patience, and is there still hope for a budding romance between the two?

As Ghosts Season 5 progresses, audiences are left eagerly anticipating how these new dynamics will unfold. Tune in Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c on CBS for more comedic twists and heartfelt moments as the season advances.
