Garcelle Beauvais is making a clear break from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” as she moves forward in her career and personal life. Nearly a year after she announced her departure from the popular Bravo reality show, the actress and entrepreneur confirmed in a recent interview with People magazine that she has no intention of rekindling friendships with her former co-stars, including Sutton Stracke, Kyle Richards, and Erika Jayne.

Beauvais, who is now 59, expressed that the past is firmly behind her, stating, “I’m not looking for that, and I don’t think they are either. So it’s probably even. The past is the past.” This resolution comes on the heels of her departure announcement in March 2025, after five seasons on the show. The exit was marked by a refusal to participate in a cast photo and a stormy exit from the set during the Season 14 reunion when she felt unsupported by her colleagues. “I can’t be friends with people like that. I don’t trust them,” she shared at that time.

Reflecting on her experiences from her final season, Beauvais had previously aired her grievances during an episode of “Watch What Happens Live” with host Andy Cohen. She noted that her friendship with Stracke has been irreparably damaged, stating, “Not only she didn’t have my back, she also, when she called me, never took accountability for it. And that hurt my feelings a lot.” However, she reminisced fondly about their five-year friendship, appreciating the good moments they shared even while acknowledging the pitfalls.

In the midst of her newfound freedom from the show, Beauvais is thriving in her personal life. She mentioned feeling “much lighter” since stepping away from the cameras, relishing the joys of privacy and the ability to focus on various projects. “It was a good thing, obviously. I love my life now,” she said. This shift has also been beneficial for her children, as her twin sons, Jax and Jaid, along with her older son, Oliver, had all made appearances on RHOBH.

Significantly, Jax opted out of filming this past season due to the negativity he faced online, expressing to his mother, “Mom, I can’t do it anymore. It was too negative for me.” Beauvais respected his decision, showcasing her commitment to her family’s well-being.

As Garcelle Beauvais embarks on this new chapter, she’s focusing on cultivating a life where she can thrive away from the pressures of reality television, indicating a hopeful and positive outlook on her future endeavors.
