Junior Vandeross III, a wide receiver from Toledo, has been a consistent performer throughout his college career. Vandeross has gained additional recognition by being selected for both the American Bowl and the Hula Bowl. He finished his college career with over 1,000 receiving yards in 2025 and secured multiple first-team All-MAC honors.
On the defensive side, Quinn Urwiler from Northern Illinois and Mason Woods from Kent State are two linebackers who have greatly increased their production in recent years. Urwiler transformed his role this season, leading the MAC in tackles and earning second-team All-MAC honors. Woods also had a strong season with 94 tackles and was recognized on the third-team All-MAC list, showcasing his ability to disrupt offenses.
Toledo’s Nasir Bowers, a cornerback, aims to continue the legacy of success established by former Rocket Quinyon Mitchell. Bowers had an impressive final season, with significant contributions in tackles and interceptions. Eli Blakey and Silas Walters from Miami University helped fortify their defense, with Blakey concluding his career with first-team All-MAC honors and Walters emerging as a standout following his journey from walk-on to one of the league’s top defensive backs.
