The Fiji Police Force has announced the appointment of Kasiano Vusonilawe as the Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations. This decision, made by Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu, follows a detailed evaluation by a promotion board that included both internal and external members, reinforcing a merit-based approach to leadership within the force.
With an impressive career spanning over 32 years, ACP Vusonilawe is a native of Nasealevu Village and has served in a variety of essential roles within the police force. His experience encompasses positions such as Station Officer, Officer in Charge of the Nausori Policing District, Divisional Manager for Community Policing, Divisional Police Commander for the Eastern Division, Director of Training, and Director of Operations. He began his career in 1993 and enhanced his leadership skills through a Command Course at the Malaysian Police Institute for Leadership and Management.
