Fiji Pine Trust unveils new branding to empower landowners

Fiji Pine Trust has introduced a new logo as part of its initiative to revamp its image among landowners and to realign its long-term objectives. According to Chairman Semi Degei, this new branding symbolizes a fresh beginning for the Trust, which has faced various concerns regarding its performance in recent years.

The updated logo is a critical aspect of the Trust’s effort to reshape its image and reinforce its dedication to the communities it supports. Degei noted that this marks the third logo redesign since 1999, highlighting the organization’s ongoing evolution.

The new identity was conceived during the Fiji Pine Trust Strategic Planning Workshop held earlier this year, which involved key stakeholders from the Itaukei Trust Fund, TLTB, the Ministry of Forestry, and the Fiji Pine Group. The workshop also laid out a revitalized mission, vision, and slogan aimed at guiding the Trust over the next five years.

Degei emphasized that the rebranding process is merely the first step in enhancing the organization’s capability, which will ultimately pave the way for wider programs catered to landowners. He articulated that the Trust’s overarching goal is to cultivate generational wealth for pine landowners, reflecting a commitment to their sustainable prosperity.

Describing the new vision as a guiding light, Degei expressed optimism about shifting the Trust’s previously negative public perception. “I believe that changing the logo will change the face of the organization, and with planned capacity building and adherence to our strategic plan for the next five years, we can foster a process of wealth generation for upcoming generations of landowners in the Fiji Pine industry,” he stated.

With a focus on placing landowners at the center of its sustainability efforts, the Trust aims to ensure that their welfare and interests drive all future decisions, marking a hopeful path forward for the organization and the communities it serves.
