Senimoli brings extensive experience to her new role, having served as the FEO’s Director of Operations for the past decade. Throughout her tenure, she has played a crucial role in managing essential electoral processes, most notably during the 2018 and 2022 General Elections. Her elevation to the acting deputy position is seen as an important step in strengthening leadership and ensuring operational preparedness.

Supervisor Mataiciwa praised Senimoli’s professionalism and dedication, highlighting her comprehensive understanding of the electoral processes in Fiji. This leadership transition is vital as the office steps up its election preparations. “This appointment ensures continuity of leadership, strengthens our operational capacity, and supports our team in delivering a transparent, efficient, and credible electoral process,” Mataiciwa noted, underlining the office’s commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism.

As the nation looks toward its forthcoming elections, the preparations reflect a strong dedication to democratic principles and public trust. The FEO’s proactive measures signal a confidence-boosting trajectory towards creating a robust electoral framework that prioritizes transparency and collaborative engagement with stakeholders.
