50 Cent has once again found himself at the center of a public feud with Ja Rule, thanks to an incident involving his associate, Tony Yayo. This latest confrontation occurred on February 9, during a flight when the two rappers crossed paths in business class.

In a video shared on Instagram, Uncle Murda, another member of 50 Cent’s camp, filmed himself and Yayo confronting Ja Rule, who was seated just a row ahead of them. The exchange quickly escalated into a shouting match, with Murda taunting Ja, prompting a heated response from him. Yayo and Murda continued to mock Ja, claiming he left the plane before takeoff, with Murda showcasing Ja’s empty seat on camera.

After the encounter gained traction online, 50 Cent joined in, sharing the footage with his followers and delivering his own jabs at Ja. He suggested that Ja’s departure from the flight was an attempt to save face, and his remarks painted a picture of humorous rivalry that has long defined their relationship.

Ja Rule did not remain silent and took to X (formerly Twitter) to assert that he had “popped” on Yayo during the flight and claimed that he threw a pillow at Yayo’s head in a playful but assertive manner. An apparent eyewitness account from TMZ reported that Ja was reportedly the instigator, shouting insults and attempting to engage in a fight, which led to intervention from the flight crew.

The ongoing rivalry between 50 Cent and Ja Rule is well-documented, with Ja often asserting that he got the better of 50 in past confrontations. In his book, Unruly: The Highs and Lows of Being a Man, Ja claimed he once dealt a significant blow to 50 during a confrontation that occurred years ago. However, this account has been disputed by Tony Yayo, who maintains that 50 emerged victorious in that altercation.

The feud between these two artists embodies a long-standing rivalry in the hip-hop world, with each party regularly taking shots at the other. While both have experienced various successes since their early 2000s conflict, these public exchanges continue to keep the rivalry alive in the eyes of fans. The playful banter, however, demonstrates that the animosity between them has not dampened over the years, and each new incident just adds another chapter to their storied history.
