Emma Chamberlain Reveals Why Musicians Always Slide Into Her DMs

Emma Chamberlain has recently opened up about her dating experiences during an appearance on the “In Your Dreams” podcast with Owen Thiele. The 24-year-old content creator shared insights into her tendency to date musicians, having been linked to singer-songwriters Role Model and Peter McPoland over the past five years.

During the November 28 episode titled “I got stuffed with Emma Chamberlain,” Thiele playfully inquired why she seems to gravitate towards musicians. Chamberlain responded with humor, quoting Sabrina Carpenter: “I swear they choose me. I’m not choosing them,” while acknowledging that she also enjoys dating them.

Chamberlain provided what she humorously referred to as “interesting evidence” that musicians are more inclined to reach out to her. “I have never slid into the DM of a musician. Only ever has the music man slid into mine,” she laughed, while also sharing that she has never approached a musician in a bar, affirming it has always been the other way around.

Thiele suggested that Chamberlain’s attraction might stem from the appeal of watching musicians perform. Though she agreed that there is some magic in that, she also emphasized that her connections are more complex. Chamberlain explained that regardless of the individual’s profession, she finds passion attractive, sharing that even meeting a hypothetical attractive baseball player would still capture her interest.

Reflecting on her past relationships, she described her connection with each musician as somewhat coincidental. She recalled how she was unaware of McPoland’s music career until after they met, leading her to joke about finding herself in a similar situation again.

In discussing the music inspired by her relationships, Chamberlain expressed how illuminating it has been for her. She mentioned learning about how partners felt about her through their songs, noting that it can sometimes clarify emotions they may not have articulated directly.

Chamberlain, who recently confirmed her single status on her podcast “Anything Goes,” revealed that she is going through a breakup following a two-year serious relationship. She reflected on the depth of love they shared, affirming the heartfelt connection that defined their time together.

This candid discussion not only sheds light on Emma’s dating life but also highlights the complexities and nuances that come with having a public relationship, especially in the creative realm of music. As she navigates this chapter, her openness may resonate with many who have experienced similar challenges in their personal lives.
