Elsie Hewitt is currently enduring significant pain during her first pregnancy with boyfriend Pete Davidson. The model, who is 29 years old, took to her Instagram Stories to express her struggle, revealing that the discomfort is nearly constant and was particularly overwhelming on Friday morning.

Hewitt described her relentless pain, stating that despite trying various methods to alleviate it—including exercise, stretches, physical therapy, acupuncture, energy healing, and steroid injections—she has found little relief. “If you can think of something that there is to do about the pain, I have tried it. I have tried everything, and it’s only getting worse,” she lamented, adding that the severity of her discomfort has made mobility difficult.

The model, who has openly discussed her battle with endometriosis in the past, suspects that she may also be dealing with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), a hereditary disorder that affects connective tissues. She reached out on social media for support, asking fellow mothers who have experienced pregnancy and birth with EDS if their pain improved after delivery. “I just really want to feel a little bit of hope,” she shared, expressing her desperation for a glimpse of relief from her ongoing suffering.

In a previous interview with People, Hewitt expressed her shock at learning of her pregnancy, as she had believed her endometriosis would render her infertile. Just before becoming pregnant, she had undergone surgery aimed at preserving her fertility. This unexpected pregnancy has taken her by surprise, and she had initially thought motherhood was out of reach.

Despite her difficulties, Hewitt recently shared a light-hearted video celebrating Davidson’s 32nd birthday, showcasing moments of joy in their relationship. The montage, filled with candid clips, provided a fun insight into their home life, far removed from her current struggles. Davidson, who also announced his happiness about fatherhood, expressed feeling “very lucky” and is looking forward to the responsibilities of caring for their child.

Hewitt and Davidson disclosed their pregnancy in July, humorously addressing the news with a playful caption on social media.

While the journey is fraught with challenges for Hewitt, her ability to connect with her followers and share both her struggles and moments of joy reflects a resilient spirit amidst adversity.
