The Ministry of Education has announced that it is nearing the completion of processing payments for staff involved in the 2025 national examinations. This includes coders, supervisors, and markers for Years 8, 12, and 13. The Permanent Secretary expressed appreciation for the professionalism and dedication demonstrated by the thousands of personnel who contributed to this year’s examination process, emphasizing that the Ministry is prioritizing the prompt release of outstanding allowances.
The Ministry reported that significant progress has been made, with most examination staff already receiving their full compensation. Any delays in processing the remaining payments have been attributed primarily to issues with documentation. To address these delays, the Ministry is collaborating with heads of schools and divisional education officers to resolve outstanding concerns.
To facilitate quicker payments in the future, the Ministry encourages personnel encountering challenges with bank-related documentation to explore using M-PAiSA, a service that is often more efficient for processing payments.
The Ministry of Education has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that all appointed examination personnel receive appropriate compensation for their contributions. As payment processes improve, the focus remains on supporting the educational workforce, highlighting the importance of their roles in the national examination framework.
