The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua is set to unveil an exciting lineup for their Super Rugby Pacific opener, with four players making their debut in Round One of the 2026 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season. Temo Mayanavanua, Issak Fines-Leleiwasa, Manasa Mataele, and Virimi Vakatawa will take to the field, blending fresh talent with seasoned athletes as the team aims to make a strong first impression.
The Drua’s forward pack will feature Haereti Hetet at loosehead prop, with Zuriel Tongiatama at hooker and Mesake Doge handling the tighthead duties. The locking duo of Isoa Nasilasila and debutant Mayanavanua will bring both physical strength and leadership to the scrum.
In the back row, Mesake Vocevoce will play blindside flanker, Kitione Salawa will take the openside position, and Elia Canakaivata will serve as the number eight. The halfbacks will see debutant Fines-Leleiwasa partner with Kemu Valetini at flyhalf, orchestrating the Drua’s offensive strategy.
The wings will be electrified by Ponipate Loganimasi and debutant Mataele, both known for their speed and scoring prowess. In the midfield, Vakatawa, who is also making his debut, will combine with Tuidraki Samusamuvodre at center. Ilaisa Droasese will round out the starting lineup at fullback.
