Kahlie Monique Bland, formerly known as Kahlie Pecaut, tragically passed away on December 21, 2025, in New Haven, Missouri, at the age of 36. Born on November 26, 1989, in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the beloved daughter of Perry Pecaut and Tracey (Ruwwe) Breen.
Kahlie was married to Ricky J. Bland Jr. on September 11, 2010, in New Haven, where the couple shared a loving life for 15 years, dedicated to raising their two sons, Lucas and Oliver. Her commitment to family was unparalleled; Kahlie’s greatest pride stemmed from her role as a mother. She was a constant presence at her sons’ sports events, cheering them on and providing steadfast support through every challenge.
A graduate of New Haven High School in 2008, Kahlie pursued a nursing degree and worked in various medical offices, including Mercy Hospital, where her nurturing personality was evident. Kahlie’s compassion extended beyond her family to all those in her life, including a profound love for animals, particularly her beloved dogs.
Outside of her responsibilities at home and work, Kahlie enjoyed spending time outdoors, relishing in nature, and attending live concerts. Her infectious smile and sharp sense of humor were hallmarks of her personality, bringing joy to those around her.
Kahlie is survived by her husband, Ricky; her sons, Lucas and Oliver; her father, Perry Pecaut and his wife Connie; her grandmother, Norma Pecaut; her mother-in-law, Phyllis Bland; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members, all of whom were touched by her warmth and kindness. She is predeceased by her mother, Tracey; her grandfathers; and additional grandparents.
Though Kahlie’s time was unfortunately cut short, her spirit and the love she fostered within her family will endure. A private visitation and funeral service will take place, followed by burial at New Haven Cemetery. In honor of Kahlie’s love for animals, memorial contributions may be directed to the Humane Society of Franklin County.
