Featherweight fighter Cub Swanson has been hinting at retirement, but he is set to return to the Octagon for at least one more fight. Swanson announced on Wednesday that he will face Nate Landwehr at UFC 327, which is scheduled for April 11, 2026, at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.

This announcement comes after Swanson’s last fight in 2024, where he secured a victory over Billy Quarantillo. Swanson, known for his exciting fight style and innovative techniques, has had a mixed record over the past five years, trading wins and losses. Despite this, he remains a fan favorite and is already part of the UFC Hall of Fame, recognized for his memorable bout against Doo-Ho Choi at UFC 206.

Swanson, with a professional record of 30 wins and 14 losses, began his UFC career in November 2011 and has notable victories over the likes of Dustin Poirier and Charles Oliveira before they transitioned to lightweight.

On the other hand, Nate Landwehr, aged 37 and with a record of 18 wins and 7 losses, is considered Swanson’s junior by five years. Landwehr made his way to the UFC after winning the featherweight title with M-1 Global, and since joining the organization in 2019, he has earned post-fight bonuses in five of his last seven bouts.

The match-up between Swanson and Landwehr is anticipated to be exciting, as both fighters have a history of providing thrilling performances, suggesting that UFC 327 could see both earn additional post-fight bonuses. As of now, the event does not have a main event announced, but it promises to deliver a night of compelling match-ups.
