O’Hara rose to fame through her memorable portrayal of Kate McCallister, Macaulay Culkin’s mother in the beloved “Home Alone” films. She later captivated audiences as Moira Rose in the award-winning series “Schitt’s Creek,” in which she starred for 80 episodes and won an Emmy Award in 2020 for her outstanding performance. This recognition marked her second Emmy, the first being awarded in 1982 for her writing on the sketch comedy “SCTV Network 90.”
