Los Angeles Sparks forward Cameron Brink has garnered attention for revealing her willingness to pose for Playboy Magazine, contingent on her fiancé’s approval. Brink spoke to TMZ Sports about the possibility, stating, “Yeah, maybe. We’ll see … maybe. If my fiancé approves.” This admission comes in light of the evolving landscape of female athletes and their visibility, further highlighted by Kysre Gondrezick, who previously ventured into modeling for the publication.
Brink has been making her mark in the WNBA since being drafted as the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft. Over her two seasons with the Sparks, she has played in 34 games and has begun to find her footing after battling injuries, including a torn ACL that affected her early career. Reflecting on her ongoing journey, Brink acknowledged the challenges of acclimation to the fast-paced professional environment, saying, “I think I’ve gotten through the hard part, but it’s really hard, the acclimating. Everything is so fast… I have moments when I feel great, and sometimes I feel like I’m floating on offense.”
In addition to her WNBA commitments, Brink was also drafted by the Lunar Owls for the inaugural season of the Unrivaled league, although injuries have sidelined her from actual gameplay. She is now set to join Breeze BC for the 2026 season, which marks a new chapter in her career. Fellow athlete Caitlin Clark expressed her admiration for Brink despite the setbacks, stating that she knows Brink will recover and emerge stronger from her injuries.
Throughout her tenure with the Sparks, Brink has averaged 6.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and one assist per game, shooting 41.1% from the field. During her impressive four-year stint at Stanford, she elevated her game to another level, averaging 14 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game, earning honors as a three-time All-American and contributing to the Cardinal’s 2021 NCAA Championship victory.
