Bula FC has announced a major partnership with iXCEL Financial Solutions, becoming the official sponsor for the OFC Professional League. The club revealed this exciting news in a press release on Thursday evening. This collaboration brings together a respected local Fijian business and the country’s first professional football club, both dedicated to fostering community development and growth.

Naziah Ali, the chief commercial officer of Bula FC, expressed her excitement about the partnership, noting the alignment of values between the club and iXCEL. “We are incredibly proud to partner with a business that not only believes in Bula FC but also believes in Fiji and in the potential of our people. Support like this enables us to build a professional environment for our players, inspire young athletes nationwide, and grow the game sustainably and meaningfully within our communities,” she said.

Poonam Kumar, the director and financial advisor at iXCEL Financial Solutions, also shared her enthusiasm, emphasizing the significance of the partnership. “I’m feeling quite excited, grateful, and honoured to be part of something big. Our parents are from Ba, so it’s truly an honour for us to support our hometown and nurture the talent we have back home,” Kumar remarked.

With the OFC Pro League campaign approaching, Bula FC is set to kick off their season against Vanuatu United FC next Saturday at Eden Park in Auckland. The enthusiasm displayed by both the club and its new sponsor paints a hopeful picture for the future of professional football in Fiji, with aspirations to inspire the next generation of athletes and enhance the sport’s growth in the region.
