BULA FC’s head coach, Stephane Auvray, has emphasized the significance of professionalism and a strong team culture as essential components for success as the club prepares for the upcoming OFC Pro League, set to kick off in January.

Auvray has expressed satisfaction with the seamless integration of overseas-based players into the local squad. Their arrival has been pivotal in fostering a professional atmosphere that the team aspires to maintain. “Yes, they were all welcomed, I wanted them to bring in that professionalism that we’re getting, which they are doing,” Auvray remarked.

Recognizing the heightened expectations placed upon the team, particularly from the overseas players, Auvray stressed the importance of these athletes adapting to the established team culture. He noted, “There’s obviously a thin line for them of being demanding and adapting to the culture as we are getting ourselves ready for professional football.”

The ongoing training camp is considered vital for preparing the players, as it provides them with critical insights into the demands of professional football. With several players poised to experience their first professional league, the coaching staff is focusing on enhancing endurance, athleticism, and technical skills, ensuring that the team is well-prepared for the challenges ahead.

Currently, Bula FC is engaged in an intensive two-week training camp at the Fiji Football Academy in Ba, scheduled to conclude for the Christmas holidays. Following a brief break, training will resume, continuing in anticipation of the OFC Professional League.

This proactive strategy not only underscores Bula FC’s commitment to player development but also establishes an optimistic tone as the team looks forward to competing at a higher level. The combination of local and international talent, reinforced by focused training and a solid team culture, positions Bula FC for an exciting and potentially successful season.
