Bula FC has officially addressed the situation regarding several players who did not board their scheduled flight to Port Moresby. The club clarified that the players missed the flight due to delays in visa approvals and were not “offloaded” by the airline, as has been inaccurately reported.
According to the club’s statement, the players were unable to check in for the flight because their visas had not been processed in time. As a result, they were never officially checked in or boarded, eliminating any notion that they were removed from the flight by the airline.
The team confirmed that the necessary visas were issued after the flight had already departed. Consequently, the affected players have been rebooked on another flight and are expected to join their teammates at the training camp in Port Moresby today.
The club emphasized the importance of using precise language in reporting such incidents, as miscommunication could lead to misunderstandings about what actually transpired. This effort to provide clarity demonstrates Bula FC’s commitment to transparency and maintaining a positive image as they prepare for their upcoming activities.
