Broncos Shake Up Roster Ahead of Week 13 Clash with Commanders

The Denver Broncos stayed relatively quiet during their bye week but made several significant roster adjustments the week prior. The team fortified its offensive line by signing Geron Christian off the Dallas Cowboys’ practice squad. To accommodate this addition, the Broncos waived wide receiver Michael Bandy, although he was quickly re-signed to the practice squad.

In further roster moves, Denver placed linebacker Karene Reid on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury, sidelining him for at least four games. To fill Reid’s spot, the Broncos signed wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey from the New York Giants’ practice squad.

In addition, the Broncos put running back J.K. Dobbins on injured reserve because of a foot issue, while activating linebacker Garret Wallow from IR back to the 53-man roster. The team also promoted cornerback Reese Taylor from the practice squad and waived wide receiver Trent Sherfield, making room for the necessary adjustments.

As the Broncos head into Week 13, they are set to take on the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football, scheduled for November 30.

With the roster changes aimed at improving the team’s overall performance, fans are hopeful that these strategic moves will lead to a strong showing in the upcoming game.
