Rap legends 50 Cent and T.I. are currently embroiled in an intense online feud that has attracted the attention of law enforcement. This conflict has escalated from discussions about a potential Verzuz battle into deeply personal exchanges, including jabs at family members and the release of diss tracks.

The South Fulton Police Department, located in Metro Atlanta, humorously acknowledged the situation on Facebook. They stated, “We are fully aware that T.I. and 50 Cent are currently engaged in a verbal discrepancy of lyrical proportions,” and added that this matter is beyond their investigative jurisdiction. They also reached out to the New York Police Department, playfully urging both artists to get along, especially considering their respective hometowns of Atlanta and Queens.

T.I. reignited the rivalry in early February during an appearance on the “Nightcap” podcast, where he expressed a desire to challenge 50 Cent to a Verzuz battle. T.I. asserted, “He don’t want smoke, though. He’s ducking smoke. It’s cool.” However, just days later, T.I. seemed to retract his eagerness, stating in another interview that he no longer wanted to share the stage with 50 Cent, declaring, “I don’t respect him.”

The feud intensified when 50 Cent shared a photo of T.I.’s wife, Tiny, on Instagram, leading T.I.’s son, King Harris, to retaliate with comments about 50 Cent’s late mother. In response to the growing tensions, T.I. released multiple diss tracks, including “War,” “Right One,” and a new track titled “What a Bully,” where he called out 50 Cent directly and emphasized his musical approach to the conflict.

While 50 Cent has refrained from firing back with his own diss tracks, he has been focusing on promoting his ventures in television and film. The evolving feud between these two artists showcases not just their lyrical talents but also offers a glimpse into the often personal nature of hip-hop rivalries. As both artists continue to navigate this public spat, fans are left to wonder if a resolution is on the horizon or if the battle will only intensify.
