The Aggies are currently ranked No.10 nationally in scoring offense, averaging an impressive 89.4 points per game. They have also demonstrated significant depth, with non-starters contributing at least 30 points in 16 games this season, including a notable 30 points at Vanderbilt. Texas A&M ranks second nationally in bench scoring, averaging 36.9 points per game.

Their opponent, Oklahoma, is currently sitting at 13-13 this season, with a 3-10 record in SEC play. After winning two of their last three games, they recently faced a tough defeat against Tennessee, losing 89-66. Historically, Oklahoma leads the all-time series against Texas A&M with a 31-14 record; however, the Aggies have triumphed in their last three encounters, including an earlier defeat of the Sooners at Reed Arena this season, winning 83-76. The last match hosted in Norman ended positively for Texas A&M, with an 80-78 victory the previous season.
