The Texans had a promising turnaround as three players returned to practice on Friday after missing Thursday’s session. Cornerback Kamari Lassiter, offensive lineman Tytus Howard, and defensive end Denico Autry participated in limited work, providing a boost to the team’s preparations ahead of their Monday night game against the Steelers.

Lassiter, who played through a knee injury during the Week 16 victory against the Chargers, had missed the previous game against the Colts as a precaution but indicated that he is ready to make his return for the upcoming match. Similarly, Howard and Autry’s return adds depth to the roster as the Texans aim to solidify their defense and offensive line.

On the downside, offensive tackle Trent Brown was still limited in his practice due to ongoing issues with his ankle and knee, while running back Jawhar Jordan was the lone player absent for a second consecutive day due to an ankle injury.

In a positive development, cornerback Derek Stingley Jr., safety Jaylen Reed, linebacker Jamal Hill, and defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins were elevated to full practice participants after being limited on Thursday. This upgrade indicates that the Texans are progressively regaining their strength as they approach their next game, boosting hopes for a strong performance against the Steelers.
