South Korea’s highly anticipated year-end event, the SBS Gayo Daejeon, will occur on Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25th. This year’s theme, “Golden Loop,” symbolizes the conclusion of a remarkable 2025 and the onset of a boundless journey into the future. Excitement for the event has been heightened by a special stage preview released by SBS on Tuesday, December 23rd.
The festivities will feature popular girl groups like LE SSERAFIM’s Eunchae, NMIXX’s Kyujin, and IVE’s Lee Seo, who are set to collaborate on a Christmas performance spotlighting the youngest members in the industry. Additionally, boy group members including TXT’s Hueningkai, ZEROBASEONE’s Zhang Hao, RIIZE’s Zhaoxi, and TWS’s Shin Wei will also grace the stage with a joint performance.
In response to overwhelming viewer enthusiasm, NCT WISH will present a three-part special performance at the Gayo Daejeon. Previously, the group made waves by covering “Eusha! Eusha!” and “Listen to my word (A-ing)” during the summer stage of the event.
Earlier this month, SBS revealed several exciting cross-group partnerships, featuring collaborations such as TXT’s Yeonjun with KATSEYE’s Yoonchae, BOYNEXTDOOR’s Yunhak alongside ILLIT’s Wonhee, and a mix of talents from THE BOYZ, TREASURE, and ALLDAY PROJECT.
The Gayo Daejeon will be co-hosted by IVE’s Ahn Yujin, DAY6’s Young K, and NCT DREAM’s Jaemin, taking place at the INSPIRE Arena in Incheon at 4:50 PM local time on Thursday. This annual extravaganza promises an evening filled with memorable performances, showcasing the vibrant talents that have shaped the K-pop landscape throughout the year.
