A group of villagers from Savulotu in Ra recently had a successful outing to the Lautoka Municipal Market, where they spent $400 on transportation to sell their fresh farm produce. Ane Taufa Rabulewa, a member of the group, expressed her delight at the opportunity to return to the city’s bustling market, emphasizing their participation since Monday.
The villagers showcased an impressive array of fresh produce, including vegetables, dalo, cucumber, rourou, chilies, and eggplants, which drew the interest of many customers. Ms. Rabulewa reported that they were pleased with their sales and looked forward to heading back home after their productive market experience.
As the villagers prepare for their return to Savulotu in time for Christmas celebrations, they extend warm holiday wishes, hoping for a blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year for all.
